Top hanky-panky spas in Kuala Lumpur

(Pixs of models for illustration purpose only)

Not all spas in Kuala Lumpur (KL) are created equal. Many holistic spas offer
a variety of beauty and health treatments that are ideal for couples.

At the other end of the spectrum are spas with young masseuses offering hanky-panky services, with its management either closing one eye or giving sheer approval. There is a sex forum website containing many field reports of several spas in KL offering full-service packages from sex kittens:

--Saboon Spa, Season Tower, Jalan 1/77B, Off Jalan Imbi, KL (Rating: 4/5)
--E2 Spa, 3rd Floor, Wisma MPL, Jalan Raja Chulan, KL (Rating: 4/5)
--Sky River Health Spa, KL Plaza, Jalan Bukit Bintang, KL (Rating: 4/5)
--JJ Spa, Kowloon Hotel, Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman, KL (Rating: 3/5)
--Senspa, Boulevard Hotel, MidValley, Lingkaran Syed Putra, KL (Rating: 3/5)
--Green Elephant Spa, Basement, Sungei Wang Plaza, KL (Rating 4/5)
--Spa, Hotel Midah, Jalan Kampung Attap, KL (Rating: 4/5)
--Spa, Mirama Hotel, Jalan Maharajalela, KL (Rating: 3/5)
--Spa, Imperial Hotel, Changkat Bukit Bintang, KL (Rating: (2/5)
--Spa, Mandarin Court Hotel, Jalan Maharajalela, KL (Rating: 3/5)
--Spa, City Villa, Jalan Haji Hussein, Off Jalan TAR, KL (Rating: 2/5)
--Spa, Wilayah Hotel, Jalan Tiong Nam, Off Jalan Raja Laut, KL (Rating: 2/5)
--Sparkle Spa, Crystal Crown, Jln Jambu Mawar, Off Jln Kepong, KL (Rating: 3/5)
--Spa, Pearl International Hotel, Jalan Kelang Lama, KL (Rating: 4/5)
--Spa, Grand Seasons Hotel, Jalan Pahang, KL (Rating: 3/5)

Mind you, I am not saying the hotels mentioned above are involved in vice but pointing out that hanky-panky services are frequently available from certain massage ladies in the independent spas housed in the premises. My ratings refer to the spa (premises, quality of gurls and price) and not the hotel. As turnover of gurls is high, ratings may change. Of course, the list above is not exhaustive.

Malaysia's latest extreme sport: tidal surfing in crocodile-infested waters

(Tidal bore pix courtesy of Drainage and Irrigation Department of Sarawak)

Think surfing in Hawaii, think bikini girls. Think tidal-bore surfing in Sarawak, think crocodiles! A tidal bore, according to Wikipedia, is "a phenomenon in which the leading edge of the incoming tide forms a wave (or waves) that travels up a river against its direction." Brazil's Pororoca and China's Guanchao are well-known among tidal-bore surfers.

The website of the Drainage and Irrigation Department of Sarawak states that in Malaysia, tidal bores (known locally as "benak") occur only at Batang Lupar, Batang Sadong, Batang Samarahan and Batang Saribas in Sarawak. Their waters are home to crocodiles. However, in 2009, Antony Colas, a tidal surfer and author of World Stormrider Guide, surfed at Batang Lupar, outwitting the predators.

Capitalising on the publicity given to him in surfing media, the Pesta Benak (literally means "Tidal Bore Carnival") was inaugurated in the riverine town of Sri Aman in May 2010. As a safety precaution, the organisers spent three days clearing the river of crocodiles prior to the carnival.

I welcome hardcore wave-riders from around the world to display their skills and guts at Sarawak's tidal bores where man-eating reptiles lie waiting. "Selamat Datang."

Bruce Lee died of koro (or penis retraction)?

When martial arts expert and movie star Bruce Lee died in 1973 after having had sex with Taiwanese actress, Betty Tingpei, speculation was rife among some traditional physicans in Hong Kong that Lee had died of koro! Koro refers to the retraction of the penis into the abdomen which causes death, and is termed "shuk yang" in Mandarin.

Wikipedia explains: "Traditional Chinese recognised koro as a sexual disease and classified it into two categories, namely 'cold conglomeration in liver' and 'depletion of kidney's yang'. " Western medical science, however, has dismissed koro as a mental disorder, or just a delusion by the patient that his penis is shrinking.

According to Chinese superstition, the following activities can cause koro:

--Drinking excessive cold water after sex
--Excessive oral sex
--Excesssive masterbation
--Exposure to cold wind after sex

Sheer baloney? In 1834, traditional physician, Pao Sian-ow, wrote in his book New Collection of Remedies of Value: "..this arises when after a fever, this poisonous heat remains in the sperm and the marrow, and can not be discharged. If intercourse is performed with a healthy person, the illness of the man will be passed on the woman, and vice versa, hence it is called Yin-Yan trasposition. The patient feels heavy and short of breath, the lower abdomen is tense, the genitalia may be affected by spasm and retraction, that heat rises in the chest, the head is too heavy to be lifted up, the eyes are blurred and the knees and calves are tight.”

In Chapter 14, the author identified cold as one of the causes of koro. He wrote: "...after an intercourse between the male and female, may be arising of exposure to wind and cold, or the ingestion of raw and cold food, the result is pain in the abdomen, the scrotum in the male or the nipples in the female are retracted.”
